Comets played away in Luton to TW Jeffers, after a slow start from Comets gave Jeffers the lead, Comets fought back to end the quarter 5-6 down to Jeffers.

2nd quarter saw some steady play from both teams, with interceptions from Lesley Woodman and Angela Wood, and solid shooting from Barbara Walshaw saw Comets take the lead 19-17.

3rd quarter, with Jeffers Centre taking some tactical interceptions, Comets had to fight hard to maintain the advantage, finishing the quarter 26-24 in the lead.

4th quarter saw Michelle Channer come off and Pat Geddes come on as GS. With all players feeling the heat from the fabulous sunshine, Comets continued the good solid play, and edged further into the lead and finished the match 34-30.
