Jets vs A-Line Flyers Cup Round Quarter final

Division One A-Line were outgunned by Premier Division side LB Jets in the quarter finals of the LD&DNL Cup they won 54-26.

Jets quickly took the lead despite strong defence from Gabi Gabrielle and Donna Cox, but Natalie Phillips dominated centre court as A-Line ended the first quarter 10 goals down.

Sally-Anne Baxter's introduction cost Jets the second quarter as, despite strong defence from Sheelah McGregor and Adrienne Doyle, A-Lines shooters found their feet and slipped seven goals past them compared to Jets six but the latter still led 22-13 at half time.

After the break, the Leighton Buzzard side's shooters rarely missed, scoring 17 goals in the third and netting freely in the fourth as they eased to victory.
