Jaguars v Panthers

Jaguars had met their opponents before in a league match so knew to expect a very physical game in this Divisional Cup match. In the first quarter, it was neck and neck, but Panthers won 8-7. Jaguars then settled down and played a more controlled game in the second quarter and won this quarter 8-4 but again in the third quarter Panthers won by one goal at 4-3. The final quarter was drawn at 5-5. Natalie Bobb made some great interceptions and stopped this physical team on many occasions in defence whilst Jo Baker fought endlessly at Centre, consequently Natalie and Jo shared Player-of-the Match in this tough game. The entire team fought hard especially Emma Jones against the Panthers Goal attack and Guest Player Sammy Humphrey who slotted easily into the Jaguars team in her first outing with them
