LBNC are incredibly proud of all its members and all its volunteers for the commitment they show to the club. Like many community clubs, LBNC is entirely run by volunteers, many of whom play, umpire, coach and hold committee positions. There are also generations of mums and other non playing volunteers who have helped the club over the years to strive and develop too. These members really are the life blood of the club as without the generosity of their valuable time that these women give, the club would not be in the strong position it is today, offering opportunities for young and old alike to take part in the game. The club are also proud of their numerous fundraising efforts over the years, the tremendous work that they have done with local schools to develop their junior section in recent years, and the many lifelong friendships that have been made! LBNC are always looking for new members of any age or ability. It doesn't matter how long it's been since you've played netball (or maybe you've never played before!), because if you like sport and enjoy socializing, there's definitely a place for you at the club. |
