LBNC is a family orientated club which began in 1973 using the name Southcott Netball Club. Today the club has over 120 female members ranging from 9-65 years, with no less than nine sets of sisters and three sets of mums and daughters playing in the club. The club operates right in the heart of Leighton Buzzard's community and welcomes players of all ages and abilities to join.

LBNC is one of only four netball clubs in the county to have an adult performance squad who play in the Regional League, competing against the best netballers in the East of England

LBNC was one of the first netball clubs in the country to achieve CAPS accreditation from England Netball in recognition of it's commitment to its future and the safety of its junior members, and has no fewer than 15 qualified coaches and 26 qualified umpires, more than any other club in Bedfordshire!
